Sales Development Representative (Remote)
Job Description
Our U.K. client is seeking a Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. This individual will play a key role in the early stages of the sales process by managing inbound leads, conducting outbound prospecting, and booking qualified meetings.
The ideal candidate has experience working in fully remote, distributed environments and is comfortable engaging prospects through structured discovery conversations. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, and account executives to ensure a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Research and identify potential customers and decision-makers within target industries

Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging

Respond to inbound leads and qualify potential opportunities

Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives

Maintain accurate prospect and outreach data in the CRM system

Consistently follow up with leads and nurture early-stage conversations

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach messaging and targeting

Track activity metrics such as outreach volume, meetings booked, and conversion rates
Requirements

1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role

Experience working in a remote environment, ideally supporting U.K. or U.S.-based companies

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Comfortable conducting outreach and speaking with new prospects

Highly organized with strong time management skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup

Experience in B2B sales or SaaS environments
