As the business continues to grow internationally, they are seeking an exceptional M&A Research & Outreach Associate to take ownership of buyer research, market intelligence and strategic outreach, playing a critical role in every live transaction.

The Role
As the firm's dedicated research and outreach specialist, you'll support multiple live M&A transactions by identifying, researching and engaging prospective acquirers across global markets.
Working directly with senior leadership, you'll help ensure every mandate reaches the most relevant strategic and financial buyers through highly targeted research and professional outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive buyer maps for each transaction, identifying strategic acquirers, private equity firms and other relevant investors worldwide.
- Research organisations and identify key decision-makers including CEOs, founders, corporate development executives and investment professionals.
- Prepare concise, high-quality company profiles and marketing materials for prospective buyers.
- Execute end-to-end buyer outreach campaigns, including personalised emails, follow-ups and engagement tracking.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, buyer databases and transaction activity.
- Conduct market, sector and competitor research to continuously improve buyer targeting.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to refine outreach strategies, messaging and campaign performance.
- Support the firm's overall deal origination and transaction execution process through high-quality research and commercial insight.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical ability with excellent communication skills and enjoys researching companies, connecting with senior executives and working in a fast-paced professional services environment.
You'll Bring
- A strong academic background with excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in research, business development, executive search, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting or another professional services environment is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance or private equity.
- Excellent online research skills with confidence using LinkedIn, company databases and other research tools.
- Strong written English with the ability to produce concise, persuasive and professional communications.
- Confidence engaging senior executives and C-suite decision-makers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Professional discretion when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
