Our client is a global technology organisation providing innovative cloud-based solutions to businesses worldwide. They are looking for a driven and highly organised HR & Operations Officer to support their people operations, improve internal processes, and provide greater visibility into workforce performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote working environment.

Role Overview

The HR & Operations Officer will play a key role in supporting day-to-day people operations, employee administration, and operational reporting across the business.

Working closely with leadership and internal teams, you will help maintain accurate employee records, track attendance and leave, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and support initiatives that improve employee engagement and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while supporting teams across different locations and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

HR & People Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR systems
  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
  • Track employee working hours, attendance, leave requests, and vacation balances
  • Respond to employee HR-related queries and provide operational support
  • Ensure HR processes and policies are consistently followed

KPI & Performance Tracking

  • Support the tracking and reporting of employee KPIs and performance metrics
  • Maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership with workforce insights
  • Monitor progress against team objectives and follow up on outstanding actions
  • Assist with performance review cycles and employee feedback processes

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Support the development and improvement of internal processes and workflows
  • Create and maintain documentation, templates, and operational resources
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements

  • Prepare regular operational reports for leadership teams

Remote Workforce Support

  • Support a distributed workforce across multiple locations and time zones
  • Help improve communication, coordination, and employee experience within remote teams
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and internal operations
  • Ensure teams have the tools, information, and processes required to operate effectively

Requirements

Essential

  • 2+ years’ experience in HR, People Operations, Operations Coordination, or a similar role
  • Experience supporting remote or international teams
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

Preferred

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms or employee management systems
  • Experience tracking KPIs, performance metrics, or operational reporting
  • Exposure to technology, SaaS, or international businesses
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Notion, BambooHR, HiBob, Deel, or similar platforms

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Driven and self-motivated — someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to improve processes
  • Highly organised — able to manage sensitive employee information accurately
  • Operationally minded — enjoys creating structure and making teams more effective
  • Data-driven — comfortable using information to identify trends and support decisions
  • Reliable and accountable — someone leadership can trust to own important processes

This role is suited to someone who wants more than traditional HR administration. We are looking for an individual who can bring energy, ownership, and operational discipline to help build and improve people processes as the company grows.
