Executive Assistant (Part - Time)
Job Description
Our client is a growing consultancy specializing in the not-for-profit sector, partnering with a diverse portfolio of organizations to deliver impactful work. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Director and contribute to the smooth operation of the wider team.
This role is primarily focused on providing executive support to the Director, enabling them to dedicate more time to strategic priorities and client-facing work. While the majority of responsibilities will be business-related, there will also be occasional support with personal administration and logistics. Depending on capacity, the successful candidate will also assist the wider team with operational and administrative activities that help keep a growing consultancy running effectively.
About the Business
The consultancy has experienced significant growth over a relatively short period. With that growth comes the need for greater support and structure, creating an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Success in this role is less about previous Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant experience and more about mindset, initiative, and approach. The ideal candidate is someone who anticipates needs, takes ownership of tasks, and proactively identifies solutions before problems arise.
As a growing business, processes and systems continue to evolve. This presents a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys improving efficiencies, implementing better ways of working, and contributing to the development of the organization beyond their immediate responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the Director's diary, appointments, and scheduling priorities.
- Prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, agendas, and follow-up actions.

- Assist with personal administration, appointments, travel arrangements, and logistics as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and implement operational efficiencies.
- Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support to the wider team.

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to work.
- Strong personal accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
- Confidence using technology and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools.
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent communication skills and a straightforward, transparent working style.
- A positive attitude and the ability to bring warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to a collaborative team environment.
