About the Role
As a Cybersecurity / Security Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure and ensuring compliance across our systems. You’ll work closely with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to identify vulnerabilities, design secure architectures, and implement cutting-edge solutions that protect against emerging threats including those introduced by AI and automation.
This is a hands-on technical position, perfect for someone passionate about security automation, ethical hacking, and proactive threat prevention.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure architectures across multi-cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) environments

Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling across infrastructure and applications

Automate security controls, testing, and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)

Develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization

Lead incident response and post-incident analysis to ensure continuous improvement and root cause resolution

Collaborate with developers to perform secure code reviews and ensure OWASP compliance

Manage identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security, and zero-trust implementation initiatives

Partner with compliance and audit teams to align systems with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR

Research, evaluate, and deploy new security tools and technologies to strengthen the company’s threat detection and response capabilities

Educate and train internal teams on security awareness, secure coding, and operational best practices

Produce detailed documentation, risk assessments, and status reports for internal stakeholders and leadership
AI Security Responsibilities

Evaluate and mitigate security risks in AI/ML pipelines, including model poisoning, data leakage, and adversarial attacks

Implement AI-specific threat modeling and secure MLOps practices across model development, deployment, and monitoring phases

Collaborate with data science teams to ensure training data integrity, secure API endpoints, and ethical data governance

Develop monitoring tools to detect anomalous model behavior or unauthorized data access

Stay updated on AI security frameworks, evolving regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF), and emerging threats in the AI ecosystem

Contribute to building internal policies for responsible AI usage, model explainability, and bias mitigation
Qualifications

4+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, network, or infrastructure security

Proven experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, IAM, GuardDuty, Azure Defender, etc.)

Strong understanding of security frameworks and incident response processes

Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools

Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and tooling

Experience or strong interest in AI/ML systems, MLOps, and data privacy is highly advantageous

Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty are a plus
