A mission-driven life sciences startup based in the US is hiring a highly experienced Compliance Consultant based in India to ensure ongoing regulatory and operational compliance across its global health tech and clinical initiatives.

This is a key remote role offering the opportunity to shape risk and compliance functions in a fast-paced startup environment working at the intersection of biotech, software, and research.

Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and implement internal compliance policies aligned with FDA, HIPAA, GxP, and other applicable regulations.
  
  

• Advise on documentation, audits, SOPs, and data handling best practices.
  
  

• Coordinate with product, engineering, and legal teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  
  

• Support audit readiness and lead risk assessment reviews.
  
  

• Stay updated on emerging international compliance regulations and trends.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years in regulatory or compliance roles within healthcare, pharma, or life sciences.
  
  

• Deep understanding of US health tech regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, GCP).
  
  

• Strong documentation and policy drafting skills.
  
  

• Experience working with US or EU-based teams.
