Business Development Rep (BDR)
Job Description
A dynamic SaaS company based in the US is expanding its global sales team and is hiring an energetic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) based in South Africa. This is a remote-first role that offers uncapped earning potential and clear progression into sales leadership roles.
The company serves small and mid-sized businesses in North America with a rapidly scaling platform. As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, helping to introduce the platform to new prospects and book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone.

Respond to inbound leads and nurture them through the qualification process.

Schedule discovery calls and hand over to senior sales reps.

Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot) and activity reports.

Consistently meet or exceed weekly outreach and lead targets.
Ideal Background:

2+ years of sales or lead generation experience, ideally in SaaS or tech.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or cold outreach tools is a bonus.

Confidence to work independently and hit KPIs from a remote setup.
