Job Description

Our client is a growing UK healthcare workforce solutions provider supporting NHS, private healthcare, and social care organisations across the UK. We deliver staffing solutions across Nursing, Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, and Complex Care services.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in UK healthcare staffing to drive new business growth across NHS and private healthcare markets.

The role focuses on developing new client relationships, generating leads, securing contracts, and expanding the client portfolio across healthcare and social care sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and relationship building

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of NHS and private healthcare clients 

  • Attend client meetings and negotiate commercial agreements

  • Work closely with internal teams to align staffing solutions with client needs

  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities

  • Provide monthly sales and pipeline reports to leadership

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in UK healthcare recruitment or staffing sales

  • Strong understanding of NHS and private healthcare staffing

  • Experience with frameworks, PSLs, and procurement processes

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Commercially driven and target focused

  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare market
