Area Sales Leader – Capital Equipment (MEA)

Location: UAE (regional travel required)

We are partnering with a leading global manufacturer of advanced capital equipment and industrial technology solutions to appoint an Area Sales Leader for the Middle East & Africa region.

This is a senior, hands-on commercial leadership role, focused on managing and growing an established dealer and distributor network across MEA. The role suits a technically strong sales leader who understands complex equipment, aftermarket services, and long-term customer value, and who is comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, independent dealer environment.

The Role

  • Own and develop the regional dealer / channel partner network, driving performance across new equipment sales, service contracts, consumables, and upgrades

  • Act as the technical and commercial escalation point for dealers and key end customers

  • Coach, challenge, and support independent dealer principals and sales teams to improve pipeline quality, conversion, and margin

  • Support complex bids, demonstrations, and solution design alongside dealers

  • Drive regional strategy, forecasting, and execution in alignment with global leadership

  • Maintain strong governance, brand standards, and customer experience across the network

The Profile

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or heavy machinery environments

  • Strong technical credibility with the ability to engage engineers, operators, and senior commercial stakeholders

  • Track record of success managing dealer, distributor, or channel-led sales models

  • Commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating across diverse MEA markets

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
